Many artists spanning different genres inspired Queen Kamarla from the greatest reggae Bob Marley to the greatest pop artist, Michael Jackson, however, the respect and adoration she has for Garnet Silk, makes her esteem him above others and as such, she holds him as her musical mentor.  

Kamarla has been singing since she was a child. At a young age, she got pregnant and took a break from the music fraternity to raise her two children. It is while caring for the kids that she practiced to craft her style, which is cultural reggae music.  

The Queen while working with Mr. Sugar Minott and Horace Andy she came up with the idea of forming her own Label: A&K Catalyst Entertainment Group to indicate transformational entertainment.
